Did you know that how much water your cat drinks impacts its health? Drinking too much or too little water can be a problem.
You should always have a bowl of fresh clean water available for your cat. If your cat seems to be asking for a lot of water, there could be a medical problem – usually metabolic or urinary.
Keep an eye on water consumption. It can help you catch problems early! Please note that cats who eat wet food will require less water to drink. Wet food is about 70% water.
What if my pet won’t drink from a water bowl?
As a cat mom, I know that not all cats like a water bowl. I’ve tried so many pet fountains, and my very favorite is Pioneer Pet’s Swan Fountain.
- Easy to assemble
- Dishwasher Safe
- Mimics a sink!
I do wish that it were not plastic, but my cats have not had any skin issues because of it! Don’t forget to change the filters regularly.

What kind of water do your cats like? Bowl? Fountain? Sink? Bottled? Please share 🙂
